Arthur
This film, starring Russell Brand, Helen Mirren & Jennifer Garner, was an excellent film as it had some side-splitting humour. But, towards the ending, it started to get a wee bit boring; but thats just my opinion. Anyway, the story.
Arthur Bach (Russell Brand) is an irresponsible playboy - despite the fact that he's been told what to do all his life. The culprits are his stern mother (Geraldine James), his housekeeper Hobson (Helen Mirren), and now, much to his dismay, his new bride-to-be Susan (Jennifer Garner). Arthur has been ordered to marry Susan, or suffer the consequences of disobedience - a new life, cut off from all his wealth and privilege. But Arthur doesn't love Susan, and has instead fallen for Naomi (Greta Gerwig), a woman with no money but a good heart. With Russell Brand in hilarious form, it's time to find out which choice Arthur will make. Can he choose love - and lose the safety net his money provides? Or will he settle for marriage to the terrifying Susan? Overall, I would give this film a 3/5 because it was quite funny at times but it got a bit boring near the end- but as I said, that's just my opinion. Thanks for reading my review and don't forget to leave some comments. See you soon!

Thor 2D & 3D
My first review is going to be on a tense film called Thor; a story about a God in Norse Mythology. In my opinion, I thought this film was alright because I saw it in 2D at the time. A warrior of great strength, yet impetuous and foolish, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is son of the all-powerful Odin (Anthony Hopkins), who rules the gods in his kingdom of Asgard. When Thor's arrogance reignites an ancient war, he is exiled to Earth as punishment. Here he meets a young scientist named Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who strives to understand the enigmatic stranger. Gifted with the strength of a god and a hammer only he can wield, Thor still needs to learn wisdom. So when his dark brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) sends his minions to invade Earth, it's time for Thor to decide what he truly wants to be - a reckless warrior god, or defender of his new home? Director Kenneth Branagh provides stunning visuals and breathtaking action sequences as the hammer-wielding Thor explodes into battle. Anyway, I would rate this film a reasonable 4/5 because it was done really well and the special FX were done really well as well. Thank you for reading my first review and I hope you would leave some comments on this review. See you next time!
